She also supervised/mentored a newly licensed LSSP at Killeen ISD and provided group supervision of doctoral interns at the Mexia State Supported Living Center. She served as Acting Director of Institutional Clinical Services for Al Price State Juvenile Correctional Facility and as Assistant Unit Director for Children’s Information and Referral, Child and Adolescent Division, Mental Health and Mental Retardation Authority of Harris County, Houston Texas.

Her approach to providing psychological services is eclectic, thus incorporating evidence based theoretical methodologies that will emphasize the best fit for her client(s). Ms. Francis utilizes her life experience, ability, and knowledge to provide increased opportunities and success for the people that she encounters and serves in various psychological settings.

Nedra Francis is a Licensed Psychological Associate (LPA) and a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) who has provided psychological services to diverse populations such as children ages 0-3 in early childhood programs to geriatric patients residing in nursing home facilities. She obtained a B.S. degree in Psychology from University of Houston – University Park and an M.A. degree in Clinical Psychology from Texas Southern University, Houston, Texas. She has also pursued doctoral level classes at Prairie View A & M University in the Clinical Adolescent Psychology program. Over the past 30 years, her experience has involved participation in a variety of settings including clinical, school, juvenile forensics, geriatric, developmental, pediatric health, community mental health, crisis intervention, and counseling. Ms. Francis has provided clinical and administrative supervision throughout her career. Clinically, while working in school districts, Ms. Francis provided Field supervision to Texas A & M School Psychology doctoral students and mentored newly licensed LSSPs at CSISD.
